There are plenty of gentle nursery slopes here, where beginners can build confidence, while experienced skiers have access to more than 200km of pistes and 95 lifts in the La Clusaz/Le Grand Bornand area.

Cross-country skiers will find plenty of trails on the nearby Beauregard plateau, and non-skiers are not forgotten, with an ice skating rink and cinema in La Clusaz, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and horse-drawn sleigh rides. And when you come home at the end of the day, the underfloor heating, log fire and sauna mean there’s always a warm welcome.
